On 8th-9th August, 2025, in order to improve the communication and collaboration within the R&D team, enhance team cohesion and execution, and let the staff relax and get close to the nature after the intense work,BWIC carefully organised a summer building activity with the theme of ‘Work Together, Climb the Peak’. The event was held in Nanchuan, Chongqing, with beautiful scenery, combining team challenge, nature exploration and farm experience, and achieved a complete success.
Embrace the Countryside
Early in the morning of 8th August, the R&D team employees who participated in the activity were full of energy and gathered at the company to set off. After arriving at Nanchuan destination, we first enjoyed the free time in the fresh and pleasant environment. During the lunch time, the authentic speciality farmhouse dishes made colleagues full of praises and reserve enough energy for the team challenge in the afternoon.
Breaking the ice for integration and energising
In the afternoon, team building activities were officially kicked off. Through well-designed ice-breaking games such as "Name Solitaire" and "Team Puzzle", employees quickly broke down barriers and improved mutual understanding in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Subsequently, the fun warm-up activities further mobilised everyone's enthusiasm, and the site was full of laughter, laying a good foundation for the subsequent challenging projects that required in-depth collaboration.
Collaborative challenges to "boost" morale
The activity entered the core part - "Inspiration" teamwork challenge. Employees were divided into teams and worked together to control a drum, striving to hit the drum consecutively through efficient communication, tacit co-operation and instant adjustment of strategies. This session focused on team coordination, focus and goal execution. Every successful collaboration and strike was accompanied by warm applause and cheers, allowing the team spirit of "working together, breaking gold" to be deeply rooted in people's hearts in practice.
Starry Night Talks, Love Heats Up
As night fell, a warm and enthusiastic team time was opened, and a unique outdoor wild hotpot feast unfolded under the starry sky. Accompanied by beautiful music, Terrace KTV became a stage for everyone to show their talents and release their passion. A splendid fireworks show pushed the atmosphere of the night to the climax. Colleagues sat around and talked freely, sharing their work and life moments, further deepening the friendship between colleagues in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
Trekking and exploring, picnic and collaboration
Early the next morning, after enjoying a nutritious breakfast, the whole staff was fully loaded and set off to challenge the main event of this activity - hiking to explore the Nanchuan Waterfalls. Employees along the winding mountain trails (about 5 kilometres), mutual encouragement and support, and work together to overcome the challenges, and ultimately succeeded in arriving and enjoy the magnificent spectacle of the waterfalls and springs, feel the nature's ingenious work. When we returned from the hike, we put into the picnic session as a group. From making fire, preparing food to cooking, team members divided the work clearly and collaborated with each other. When a hand-made delicious food was presented in front of the eyes, a full sense of achievement and teamwork fun arose, and the moment of sharing food was particularly warm and harmonious.
Returning from a full load, gathering strength to move forward
At the end of the activity, all the members took a group photo in front of the picturesque scenery to freeze this precious memory full of laughter and touching. With a happy mood and full of harvest, the team gathered back on time and arrived at the company safely and smoothly in the afternoon.
Melting Teams, Empowering the Future
The Nanchuan development activity is not only a natural journey of physical and mental relaxation, but also a fruitful team melting. Through a series of targeted design of development projects (such as "inspirational" on the coordination of executive exercise, hiking on the test of will and mutual assistance, picnic on the division of labour practice) and collective life experience, significantly enhance the mutual trust between team members, communication efficiency and spirit of cooperation. We break through ourselves in the challenge, deepen understanding in the collaboration, and gather strength in the joy. It is believed that this team cohesion and combat power, which was refined in the mountains and waters, sublimated by the bonfire and strengthened in the collaboration, will be transformed into a powerful kinetic energy in daily work, which will inspire all the members of the BWIC R&D team to meet the challenges of the future with more enthusiasm and closer collaboration, and climb up the new technological peaks hand in hand!
